- 3/4 c Old-fashioned oatmeal
- 1 1/3 c Cold water
- Salt (optional)
- 1 tb Maple syrup or honey (optional)
- In an earthenware dish or heavy ovenproof casserole with tight-fitting
lid, combine oatmeal, water, a pinch of salt and maple syrup, honey or
brown sugar if using them.
- Cover tightly and place in 225'F.
oven for 7 hours, or overnight, until the oatmeal reaches desired
