Petite Peas with Thyme and Garlic


Use Petite Peas in this recipe. Thyme and garlic gives this dish a wonderful flavor!


  • 1 tb Olive oil
  • 1 Garlic clove, large, minced
  • 1 pack Peas, petite, frozen (16 oz.)
  • 1/2 tsp. Thyme, dried
  • 2 c Romaine lettuce, chopped
  • Seasoned salt
  • Pepper, freshly ground


  1. Heat oil, garlic and peas in a skillet. Add thyme and lettuce
  2. Mix well, then cover and steam over low heat for 5 minutes
  3.  Peas should be bright but tender and lettuce should be wilted.
  4. Add seasoned salt and pepper to taste.
