Easy Easter Sloppy Joes

Sloppy Joes for Easter? Some folks don't like to cook all day and don't have a big family. This is quick and easy!

2 lb Lean ground beef
1 md Onion, shopped
1 md Green bell pepper, chopped
30 oz Tomato sauce
2 tb Light or dark brown sugar
1/2 ts Garlic powder
1/2 ts Salt
1/4 ts Black pepper
6 To 8 sandwich or hamburger buns, split

In a large skillet, brown the ground beef with the onion and green pepper over medium high heat for 7 to 9 minutes; drain off the excess liquid. Add the tomato sauce, sugar, garlic powder, salt, and pepper; mix well.

Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Serve over the hamburger buns.
