Baked Chicken In Butter and Cream

Ingredients:

  • 2 cut up frying chickens
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tbsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 lb. butter
  • 3 cups milk

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Dip chicken pieces in water.
  2. Mix flour and spices together. Coat chicken with flour mixture.
  3. Put chicken, skin side up, into 2 baking pans (13 x 9 x 2). Dot with butter.
  4. Bake for 30 minutes, or until golden brown. Remove from oven.
  5. Pour milk around chicken. Cover aluminum foil and return to oven.
  6. Reduce heat to 350 and bake 45 more minutes.
  7. Serve.
