Deviled Scallops

Deviled Scallops


  • 1 pound scallops
  • 4 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • Dash of cayenne pepper
  • 1 cup freshly made buttered bread crumbs


  1. Preheat oven to 375 F
  2. Butter a small baking dish or 3 scallop shells
  3. Rinse the scallops and pat dry with paper towels.
  4. Cream the butter, mustard and cayenne in a small bowl.
  5. Place the scallops in the baking dish or shells, dot with creamed butter and cover with buttered crumbs.
  6. Bake for 20 minutes.
