Certainly Citrus Bread


  • 1 tb + 1t Butter
  • 1 tb + 1t Dry milk
  • 1 ts Salt
  • 1 ts Yeast, fast rise or machine
  • 2 c White bread flour
  • 2 tb Orange marmalade
  • 2 ts Lemon juice
  • 2 ts Lime juice
  • 2 ts Sugar
  • 2 ts Yeast, active dry
  • 2/3 c Water
  • Pinch lemon peel


  1. Try it with swordfish baked with lime butter or your favorite lemon chicken recipe.
  2. Success Hints If using fresh lemon peel, grate very fine and avoid using the white pulp. Use regular or rapid bake cycle. 2 ts Yeast, active dry - or - 1 ts Yeast, fast rise or machine.

Makes 1 Loaf of citrus bread.

This tangy bread has a fine, light texture. The subtle yet distinctive citrus flavor makes it a perfect accompaniment for fish or chicken.
