Baked Venison Roast With Veggies

Baked Venison Roast

Ingredients:

  • Venison roast
  • Sweet onions
  • Garlic cloves smashed
  • Pepper
  • 1-2 bay leaves
  • Diced carrots
  • Green onions
  • Parsley
  • Mushrooms
  • Small red potatoes

Directions:

  1. Cover the bottom of a large roasting pan with a layer of sweet onions , garlic cloves smashed , the Venison, and enough water to cover the roast just a bit.
  2. Season with more onions and garlic, pepper, salt, bay leaves, diced carrots, green onions and parsley.
  3. cover and cook on 225 degree oven for about two hours.
  4. Add whole mushrooms and small potatoes, cook on low till taters are done and meat falls off bone.
  5. Serve over rice.
