This dip is made with caramels, half and half and cream cheese. Made in the microwave and used as a dip for apples.
1 pack (14 oz.) caramels
1/2 c Half and half
4 oz. Cream cheese
Unwrap caramels; place with half and half in double boiler or
microwaveable bowl. using a microwave at 50 percent power, stir often
Using a double boiler, cook over simmering heat, stirring often until melted. Let caramel cool.
Using a whisk or electric mixer, beat cream cheese into caramel mixture. Serve with apple slices or sugar cookies.
