Caramel Dip for Apples

This dip is made with caramels, half and half and cream cheese. Made in the microwave and used as a dip for apples.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pack (14 oz.) caramels
  • 1/2 c Half and half
  • 4 oz. Cream cheese

Directions:

  1. Unwrap caramels; place with half and half in double boiler or microwaveable bowl. Using a microwave at 50 percent power, stir often until melted.
  2. Using a double boiler, cook over simmering heat, stirring often until melted. Let caramel cool.
  3. Using a whisk or electric mixer, beat cream cheese into caramel mixture.
  4. Serve with apple slices or sugar cookies.
