This delicious frosting is made with brown sugar, powdered sugar and more. Easily made in your microwave.
1/3 c Brown sugar; packed
2 tb Margarine
2 tb Milk
1 1/4 c
Powdered sugar; i.e. icing sugar
1/2 tsp. Vanilla
In bowl, combine brown sugar, margarine and milk; microwave at 100%
(High) for 45 to 60 seconds until margarine has melted, sugar is
dissolved, and mixture boils.
Stir in icing (powdered) sugar and
vanilla. Let cool to lukewarm. Beat until thick enough to spread but not
grainy.
Mixture should hold imprint of spoon.
Makes
enough to frost 1) 8-inch cake or 1 dozen cupcakes.
