Ann Landers' Meatloaf

Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 lb. Ground beef
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 1/2 c Breadcrumbs
  • 3/4 c Ketchup
  • 1 tsp. Msg
  • 1/2 c Water; warm
  • 1 pack Dry onion soup mix
  • 2 slices Bacon; (opt)
  • 8 oz. Tomato sauce

Directions:

  1. Mix all ingredients except bacon and tomato sauce.
  2. Put in a 9x5" loaf pan; cover with 2 strips of bacon.
  3. Pour tomato sauce over meat.
  4. Bake 1-1/2 hours at 350 degrees.
