Carol Burnett's Meatloaf



  • 2 lb. Ground round
  • 2 Eggs
  • 16 oz. Tomato sauce
  • Milk
  • Onions; chopped
  • Green pepper; chopped
  • Bread crumbs
  • Salt & pepper
  • Onion salt
  • Garlic salt


  1. Beat eggs with a little bit of milk in bowl.
  2. Add 1 can tomato sauce and beat.
  3. Add onions, pepper and squish meat with hands through all this mess (wash hands first).
  4. Add salt, pepper, etc. to taste.
  5. Add a few bread crumbs to hold it all together and pat into a loaf.
  6. Place loaf in electric frying pan with a little oil.
  7. Pour over remaining tomato sauce.
  8. Cook about 1-1/2 hours at 325 degrees.
