Crock Pot Beef Stew Bowl

This tasty Crock Pot Beef Stew is cooked for about 7 hours, then served in a bread bowl. You eat the stew, and the bowl!

Crock Pot Beef Stew Bowl

2 lbs. of beef chuck cut into 1 to 2 inch pieces
5 med potatoes peeled and cut into small pieces
1 med onion chopped
2 cups of sliced carrots
1 pack of onion soup mix
1 tsp. of celery salt
2 cups of beef broth or water
1/4 cup of flour
1 to 2 TB of flour for later
Artisan bread bowl

Combine beef with the 1/4 cup of flour, toss well.
In large crock pot combine all ingredients and cook on high for 6 to 7 hours.

With about 30 minutes to go, take a cup of your broth from the pot and mix well with the rest of the flour.
Return it to the pot and cook the remainder of the time. (This will thicken your beef stew)

You want to serve this in a Artisan bread bowl:
Place your bread in the oven on 300 degrees for about 10 minutes or until crispy on the outside.

Remove from oven, cut the top off and hollow out the bread
Serve your beef stew inside the bread. You eat the stew and the bowl.
