Macaroni And Cheese Recipe Request

Looking for a Macaroni and Cheese Recipe that is just Macaroni and Cheese, no onions, peppers or anything like that, and that is baked in the oven.

Can someone help?


Macaroni and Cheese (crock pot)

8 oz. Elbow macaroni, cooked and drained
4 cups (16 oz.) shredded sharp Cheddar Cheese, divided
1 can (12 oz.) evaporated milk
1 ½ cups milk
2 eggs
1 tsp. Salt
½ tsp. Black pepper

Place cooked macaroni in a 3 ½ quart ( or larger ) slow cooker that has been coated with nonstick cooking spray. Reserve 1 cup of the cheese, add the remaining cheese and the other ingredients to the macaroni, mix well. Sprinkle with the remaining 1 cup cheese, then cover and cook on the low setting for 5-6 hours or until the mixture is firm and golden around the edges. Do not remove the cover or stir until the mixture has finished cooking.
Cook macaroni per directions, for as many people as you want, then drain and layer in 2 quart casserole dish butter or greased well so don't stick, put layer of macaroni, then cracker crumbs pats of butter, shredded cheese american or cheddar depending on what you like and the amount depends on how cheesy you want it, then layer more macaroni and cheese, top with cracker crumbs and then fill almost to top with milk and bake uncovered in 350 deg. oven about 1 hour or until done, season to your taste with salt pepper or any seasonings you like. I like a lot of garlic in mine.
The Mac and Cheese I grew up on is really simple:

2 cups elbow pasta, cooked and drained. Grease or spray baking dish and place half of the pasta in dish. Slice Velveeta and place slices on top of macaroni. Put the rest of the macaroni on top and another layer of Velveeta cheese on top Then pour one can of evaporated milk over all. Bake in 350° oven for 45 minutes till bubbly all over.

1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter or margarine, divided
1/4 cup flour
1 cup milk
1/2 lb. (8 oz.) VELVEETA Pasteurized Prepared Cheese Product, cut up
2 cups (8 oz.) elbow macaroni, cooked, drained
1/2 cup KRAFT Shredded Cheddar Cheese
1/4 cup crushed RITZ Crackers

PREHEAT oven to 350°F. Melt 3 Tbsp. of the butter in medium saucepan on low heat. Add flour; mix well. Cook 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Gradually add milk, stirring until well blended. Cook on medium heat until mixture boils and thickens, stirring constantly. Add VELVEETA; cook until melted, stirring frequently.
ADD macaroni; mix lightly. Spoon into lightly greased 2-quart casserole dish; sprinkle with shredded cheese. Melt remaining 1 Tbsp. butter; toss with cracker crumbs. Sprinkle over casserole.
BAKE 20 minutes or until heated through.

Save 60 calories, 9 grams of fat, and 5 grams of saturated fat per serving by using fat free milk, VELVEETA LIGHT Reduced Fat Pasteurized Prepared Cheese Product, KRAFT 2% Milk Shredded Reduced Fat Cheddar Cheese and RITZ Reduced Fat Crackers.

P.S. Not to be smart - but if you want a good Mac & cheese - Use Krafts in a box. Mac, cheese, box - bake.
Simple Macaroni and Cheese


* 12 ounces elbow macaroni; cooked and drained
* 1 cup sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
* 2 eggs, beaten
* 2 1/2 cups milk
* 1/2 cup butter


Combine all ingredients; mix well and place in baking dish. Bake at 350F for 35-40 minutes or until sauce is thick.
Gramma`s Mac and Cheese
8 oz Elbow Macaroni, cooked and well drained.
4 c shredded colby cheese
1/4 c margarine
s & p as desired.
In bottom of a 5 x 9 in glass dish, brush with marg to cover, add a layer of cooked macaroni, a layer of cheese and continue doing so with marg, mac and then cheese. Top with dobs of margarine and fine bread crumbs. Bake in 325 degree oven for 25 to 30 minutes. Serve hot. If you like just mac and cheese this is the one for you.

wow, just wow, easy way to make macaroni and cheese.... go to the local walmart and get the following; in the soups aisle, get a box of Easy Mac. Read directions and enjoy!!!!
ahhh good ole comfort food well you can go from quick with this
1. can of your favorite cream soup
1. cup cooked macaroni
add the cream soup in pan do not add milk.heat till bubbly add macaroni.sprinkle in some parm cheese,(you control the strength)
or you can do a long version
2. T. flour
2. T. butter or olive oil
1. cup of milk,(you can make this lactose free buy using a good non dairy creamer).
4.oz of sharp chedder
4.oz parmesan
1.cup macaroni
heat the butter add the flour to make a roux slowly add the milk wisking while you pour add cheeses and macaroni put in ramikin,( baking dish).sprinkle w/your favorite bread crumbs or croutons.bake till brown and bubbly
