Applesauce Bars


1/2 cup margarine
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup applesauce
2 eggs
2 cup flour
1 tsp. soda
1/4 tsp. salt

1/3 cup brown sugar
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 cup butterscotch chips


Mix all ingredients except topping together and pour into a jelly-roll pan, do not grease or flour the pan. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Mix and sprinkle over the first mixture that is in the pan. Bake on 2nd shelf from bottom in oven. For a 12x17 pan, bake for 25 minutes. For a 10x15 pan, bake for 35 minutes at 350 degrees.
