Basic White Bread

Basic White Bread


  • 1 1/2 tb Butter; or margarine
  • 1 1/2 ts Red Star yeast
  • 1 1/2 ts Salt
  • 1/2 c Water
  • 3 c Bread flour
  • 3 tb Sugar
  • 5/8 c Milk


  1. Place all ingredients into bread pan and press start.
  2. After baking cycle ends, remove bread from pan, place on cake rack, and allow to cool 1 hour before slicing.

Recipe yields 1 loaf of Basic White Bread.
