Raisin Bread


  • 1 1/2 ts Yeast, fast rise or machine
  • 1 tb Butter
  • 1 tb Dry milk
  • 1 tb Sugar
  • 1 ts Salt
  • 1/2 c Raisins
  • 1/2 ts Cinnamon
  • 2 c White bread flour
  • 2 ts Yeast, active dry
  • 3/4 c Water


  1. For whole raisins in the bread, add fruit at the beep on the fruit and nut cycle or after the first knead.
  2. If using the rapid bake cycle, add raisins with other ingredients.
  3. This recipe can be made with the regular, rapid or delayed time bake cycles. 2 ts Yeast, active dry - or - 1 1/2 ts Yeast, fast rise or machine.

Yields 1 loaf of Raisin Bread
