1 1/2 ts Dry milk
1 1/2 ts Salt
1 1/4 c Water
1/2 c Rolled oats
2 tb Butter
2 tb Honey
2 ts Yeast, fast rise or machine
3 c White bread flour
3 ts Yeast, active dry
One taste of this full-bodied white bread and you'll never call oatmeal
The light oat taste makes it a natural for hearty morning toast. The nicely-textured bread makes fine sandwiches, too.
Success Hints: For added texture, add the oats after the first knead or at the beep on the fruit and nut cycle.
For additional crunch, sprinkle a few oats on top of the loaf after the final rise. Instant oatmeal doesn't work, but quick-cooking oats do.
Use regular, rapid bake or delayed time bake cycle. 3 ts Yeast, active dry - or - 2 ts Yeast, fast rise or machine
