Onion Bread Large Loaf

Ingredients:

1 1/2 ts Salt
1 1/2 ts Yeast, fast rise or machine
1 1/4 c Water
1 tb Onion paste
1 ts Black pepper
1 ts Poppy seeds
1/2 c Onions, dried
2 tb Brown sugar
2 tb Butter
2 tb Dry milk
3 1/4 c White bread flour
3 ts Yeast, active dry

Directions:

The aroma has a wonderful affect, and so does the taste. Serve it warm with split pea soup, and your senses will think they've died and gone to heaven!

Success Hints: Use dried onion flakes, not fresh. If you can't find onion paste in a tube, you may substitute 1/4 t onion powder. Don't use onion salt.

Use regular or rapid cycle. 3 ts Yeast, active dry - or - 1 1/2 ts Yeast, fast rise or machine.

Yields 1 large loaf of Onion Bread
