Velveeta Queso Dip

Velveeta Queso Dip. I love this dip, it's easy to make, cheesy and delicous, and added hamburger meat!

I have made this cheesy dip with, and without hamburger meat. It is delicious and creamy either way.
I love the fact that you can make it in the microwave in just about five minutes. Only thing you need to cook is the hamburger meat, and that doesn't take long at all!

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. (16 oz.) Velveeta cheese, cut into cubes about 1/2 inch thick
  • 1 can (10 oz. each) Ro*Tel Original Diced Tomatoes & Green Chilies; do not drain
  • 1 pound of browned, seasoned and drained hamburger meat
  • Splash of milk or cream (optional)
  • A few dashes of hot sauce (optional)
  • Dash of salt (optional)

Directions:

  1. Combine all ingredients except hamburger meat and hot sauce in a microwaveable bowl.
  2. Microwave on high for about 3 minutes.
  3. Stir in browned and drained hamburger meat and hot sauce.
  4. Microwave another 2 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and creamy.

We used nacho flavored chips to dip this up, but you can use any type of veggie or crackers.
