Pulled Pork BBQ Recipe...March 30, 2004
Hi y'all

The storm has passed and we have really nice weather
today! Georgette is tickled pink! :o)
Enjoy today's recipe!
Today's Recipe

Pulled Pork BBQ

3-5 pounds of boneless pork butt or pork tenderloin.
Butt works best since it has more fat, but tenderloins
are fine too.

Olive or vegetable oil
BBQ sauce (you want the vinegar-based sauce, not heavy

Dry rub consisting of:
1/4 cup cumin
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup paprika
1/4 cup chili powder
1 tbsp red pepper
1/4 cup salt
1/4 cup black pepper
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic

Rub the pork with your dry rub
Preheat oven to 325
Heat the olive oil in a skillet or pan large enough to
brown the pork
Brown the pork on all sides in the oil
Bake at 325 for 3 to 3 1/2 hours for pork butt, or
about 2 hours for pork tenderloins
Remove pork and shred using two forks. The meat should
shred very easily
Add BBQ sauce and serve!!
