Ham And Cheese Patties Recipe...June 12, 2004

Hi y'all

We have had a few people telling us that the ingredients have been unreadable in the last several newsletters. We are trying a different format today. Please let us know if have any problem reading today's newsletter.

Today's Recipe:

Ham And Cheese Patties


4 Slices bread
3 Sprigs parsley
1/4 Medium onion
1 lb Cooked ham
2 oz Cheddar cheese, shredded
2 Eggs
1/4 c Milk
1 tb Prepared mustard
1/4 ts Pepper


In food processor combine bread, parsley and onion.
Blend to crumbs.
Add onion and ham, blend to chop well.
Add cheese, eggs, milk, mustard, and pepper. Blend.
Shape mixture into 8 balls, flatten slightly to patties.
Put on rack.
Microwave on high, covered with wax paper, 12 - 14 minutes.
Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
Suggested serving with baked sweet potato and peas.

Kitchen And Household Tips:

Apply mashed banana to a burn for a cooling effect.
Placing a few drop of lemon juice in water before boiling rice will make it whiter.
To keep ice from forming on your freezer, rub table salt on the inside walls.
Don't store onions and potatoes together. Potatoes will rot quickly if stored with onions.
To bake potatoes quickly, place in salt water for 15 minutes before baking.
