*****************************************
Hi Y'all,

Oh my goodness, it was a wonderful Christmas here, and we hope yours was just as good!

You should have seen Georgette~ She dressed as Mrs. Santa Claus, and the boys dressed up as the elves! Although Georgette had just a wee bit of trouble waddling in those big black boots! Now we just have New Year's Eve left, wonder what she going to do for that? :o)

Today's Recipe:

Garden Turkey Burgers (Good For That Leftover Turkey!)

1 Egg White
1/4 c Fine dry bread Crumbs
1/4 c Finely shredded Carrot
1/4 c Finely chopped Onion
1/4 c Finely chopped Green Pepper
1/2 ts Salt
1/8 ts Pepper
2 tb Grated Parmesan Cheese
1 lb Ground Turkey
1 Med Tomato, sliced

In a large bowl combine egg white and bread crumbs.
Stir in carrot, onion, green pepper, salt, and
pepper.
Add Parmesan cheese and ground meat; mix well.
Shape meat mixture into four 3/4" thick patties.

Spray a cold grill rack with Pam. Then place rack on grill. Grill
burgers on an uncovered grill directly over medium coals for 7
minutes.
Turn and grill 8-11 minutes or till no pink remains. Place 1 tomato slice atop each burger and grill 1 minute more.

Requests From Readers, Can You Please Try And Help Them Out?

Still no answer for this one, any body out there have any ideas?

"I'm looking for a recipe for Rum Cake, with alot of rum in it. A few years ago a West Indian friend of mine gave me some her mom made and it was absolutely delightful, but I've not been able to get the recipe
for it. But I can tell you this ... there was A LOT of rum in it
So if anyone has something that fits the bill, please share! I've
come up with nothing with my limited searching on the internet, most recipes say like to use 1 cup of rum and they think that's too much, blah blah blah".

Have a question, or looking for a recipe? Just ask for it at the
message board under "Recipes" in the forum titled: "Request Recipes"

Today's Joke: Posted by Zashin under View and Add Jokes at the message board-Thanks!

At the Grandparent's Joke

Two young boys were spending the night at their grandparents. At bedtime, the two boys knelt beside their beds to say their prayers when the youngest one began praying at the top of his lungs. "I pray for a new bicycle... I pray for a new Ipod... I pray for a new dvd..." His older brother leaned over and nudged the younger brother and said, "Why are you shouting your prayers?...
