Ground Beef Tomato Linguine Toss

Ingredients:

  • 4 oz Uncooked linguine
  • 1/4 lb Extra lean ground beef
  • 2 tb Flour
  • 1/2 c Chicken broth
  • 1/2 c Milk
  • 2 tb Chopped fresh parsley
  • 8 oz Tomato sauce
  • 1 tb Romano cheese; optional

Directions:

  1. In large nonstick saucepan, cook linguine to desired doneness; drain and keep warm.
  2. In same saucepan, brown ground beef; drain and set aside.
  3. Combine flour, broth and milk in same saucepan; cook and stir over medium heat until thickened and bubbly.
  4. Stir in parsley, tomato sauce, and cooked ground beef; heat thoroughly.
  5. Add linguine; toss to coat.
  6. Sprinkle with cheese.
