Cajun Beefy Burgers

Ingredients:

• 2 pounds ground beef
• 1 green pepper, cored, seeded and minced
• 1/2 cup chopped scallions
• 3 cloves garlic, minced
• 2 teaspoons ground cumin
• 2 teaspoons dried oregano
• 1 teaspoon dried thyme1 teaspoon paprika
• red pepper flakes to taste
• salt to taste
• 6 ground beef buns, toasted
  

Directions:

1. Combine the beef, green pepper, scallions and garlic in mixing bowl.
2. Add the cumin, oregano, thyme, paprika and red pepper flakes and salt to taste and mix until blended.
3. Shape the meat into 6 patties.
4. Broil, fry on or grill the meat to desired doneness.
5. Place ground beefs on toasted buns and top with sliced tomatoes and sour cream or your favorite topping
