CHOCOLATE CHIP PUMPKIN COOKIES

2 eggs
2 C. granulated sugar
1 C. shortening
2 C. pumpkin
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
4 C. flour
2 tsp. vanilla extract
12 oz. chocolate chips

Mix together eggs, sugar, shortening and pumpkin until creamy. Mix together dry ingredients and add to creamy mixture. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop by large spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet and bake at 350ºF for 10 to 12 minutes.
