Health Grain Bread

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 c White bread flour
  • 1 tb Olive oil
  • 1 tb Wheat germ
  • 1 ts Salt
  • 1 ts Yeast, fast rise or machine
  • 1/4 c Bran Flakes
  • 1/4 c Carrots (chopped or grated)
  • 1/4 c Raisins
  • 1/4 c Sunflower seeds
  • 1/4 c Wheat bread flour
  • 2 tb Dry milk
  • 2 ts Honey
  • 2 ts Yeast, active dry
  • 3/4 c Water

Directions:

  1. If using the time bake cycle, place the carrots away from the yeast to prevent carrots from turning brown.
  2. This recipe can be used with the regular, rapid or delayed time bake cycles. 2 ts Yeast, active dry - or - 1 ts Yeast, fast rise or machine.

Makes 1 loaf of health grain bread.
