Gosh I wish our weather would make up my mind! Don't know if we should
wear a coat or shorts from one day to the next. :o)

Meatballs:
1 pound ground beef
1/4 cup bread crumbs
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
Mix and shape into small balls.
Mix in large pot:
2 cups water
1 cup whole grain corn
2 beef bouillon cubes
1/2 teaspoon Tabasco
1 cup potatoes, chopped
1 cup celery, chopped
1/2 cup carrots, sliced
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1 (16 ounce jar) Cheez Whiz; add after soup is cooked
Mix all ingredients including meatballs. Stir gently. Bring to boil,
cover and simmer on low until vegetables are done, about 2 hours.
Before serving, add Cheez Whiz and stir gently. May also cook in
crock pot on low for 8 to 10 hours.

Fella goes into his favorite deli where the waiter immediately brings
him a bowl of matzoh ball soup. The customer signals the waiter to
come back.
"Taste the soup!" he commands.
"Why?" inquires the surprised waiter.
"Taste the soup!" comes the reply.
"Max, you've been coming in here every day for ten years. There's
never been anything wrong with the soup."
"Taste the soup!"
"What's wrong, too much salt--not enough salt?"
"Taste the soup!"
"What, the matzo balls aren't fluffy enough for you?"
"TASTE THE SOUP!"
The waiter finally agrees, "All right all right, I'll taste the soup!
