Georgette is going quackers again, she can't get over all the great
members we have! Everyone has been wonderful posting, rating and
adding recipes, stories, jokes, and more. We thank each and every one
of you. She really enjoys the stories, you should see that duck quack

Apple Brown Betty
Ingredients
5 cups peeled, cored, and sliced cooking apples
5 cups soft breadcrumbs, divided
1 3/4 cups sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 cup butter, divided
1/2 cup water, divided
Whipped cream
Directions
Arrange apples in a lightly greased 11x 7 inch baking dish. Sprinkle
with half of breadcrumbs. Combine sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle half
of sugar mixture over bread- crumbs. Dot with half of butter, and sprinkle with half of water. Repeat layers.
Bake at 400 degrees for 45 minutes or until apples are tender. Spoon
into individual serving bowls, and serve warm with whipped cream.
Yield: 8-10 servings.

Beautiful Coconut Cake
"I am 61 years young & I remember so well when all our kids were at
home (20 years ago!) I cooked a coconut layer cake & I placed it on a
beautiful silver cake plate & proceeded to frost the cake. The plate
had handles on each side, so it was easy to spin the plate as I added frosting. I was so wrapped up in my cake with 3 kids & husband
watching & waiting for a yummy piece of cake, when all of a sudden...
