These Cajun style meat pies come from Natchitoches, Louisiana and are
pretty famous, they are also know as Empanadas.
The filling is made with ground beef, ground pork, green onions, garlic, bell pepper, onions, spicy seasonings and and a little flour.
The filling is then put into individual pie crusts and deep fried. Doesn't get much better than this! This recipe makes about 18 pies.
